“It’s never too late to be a mother”, wrote Naomi Campbell in a photo on her Instagram profile to announce the news that she has welcomed her second child, a boy. The 53-year-old supermodel became a mother for the first time two years ago to a baby girl.

The image shows the arms of the businesswoman and activist holding the newborn and also the hand of the first-born. “My little love, you must know that you are loved beyond measure and surrounded by love from the moment you graced us with your presence. A true gift from God. Blessed be you! Welcome, baby!” he wrote. In the text, Campbell tagged Rodney Burns as the stylist for the baby’s look, signed by Dolce

As happened with the first daughter, the baby’s arrival in the world was a surprise. Of the child, whose name, as in the case of the sister, is unknown and no further details are known, it is only known that he was born a few weeks ago. Naomi has not given any information or explained how the babies were conceived, but she has never been seen pregnant. It seems that the model has faced the new motherhood also alone and with the help of the mother, Valerie Morris-Campbell. Some of the few words she has said in relation to her first motherhood were: “She is not adopted, she is my daughter”, she detailed in Vogue magazine, so it was deduced that the girl, like her brother, was born through surrogacy.

In May 2021, she announced the birth of her first daughter: “A small and beautiful blessing has chosen me to be her mother. So honored to have this gentle soul in my life there are no words to describe the bond of my life that I now share with you my angel. There is no greater love.” As he later explained to Vogue magazine, the experience was “the best thing I’ve ever done”, so he wouldn’t rule out repeating it.

A month ago, on the occasion of Naomi’s 53rd birthday, she could be seen at the party they had organized for her from Boss while the Cannes festival was taking place, together with her daughter. The one who was one of the top of the nineties did not pose at any time with the girl, but, nevertheless, she was seen when she arrived with her in her arms minutes before entering the party.

Naomi Campbell is one of the most iconic models of the nineties, along with Claudia Schiffer, Cindy Crawford, Linda Evangelista or Elle MacPherson. Off the catwalks, she has been in the news more than once for temper tantrums, for which she has been sentenced to fines and community service, and for failed flings: Flavio Briatore, Robert De Niro, Adam Clayton, the Russian millionaire Vladislav Doronin – who sued her for not returning a loan – and Joaquín Cortés, for whom the model tried to commit suicide.
