An atypical therapy session between a psychologist used to dealing with borderline situations and her supervisor and friend raises the dilemma of Una butaca al North Pole, the new play by Mercè Sarrias, which premieres at the Flyhard hall, with directed by Mònica Glaenzel.
Sarrias explains: “The play dances between genres, between what we live, how we live it, what we think and what goes through our heads by surprise or not. The play tells us about feelings: friendship, exhaustion , of impotence… And it leads us to an impasse: When faced with an injustice we only encounter insurmountable walls, is violence justifiable?”
The Barcelona playwright Mercè Sarrias is the author of a dozen plays and has been the screenwriter of successful series such as Porca misèria and Merlí.
The production at the Flyhard hall stars the actresses Susanna Garachana and Maria Pau Pigem, and can be seen at the Sants hall until February 10, 2024.
