A man in the 50’s, which hung with the head downward in the 14 hours from an 88-meter high chimney in the English city of Carlisle, died on Monday afternoon. It confirms the police from Cumbria.
the Man died before the rescue operation could be carried out. The body of the man was freed from the chimney and brought down to the ground by the fire department and other rescue personnel.

the Man allegedly climbed all the way to the top of the chimney on a ladder, which is mounted outside on the chimney. At the top of the 88-metre high chimney, he was trapped between the ladder and the chimney. When rescue personnel came forward to the man via a high crane, hang the man upside down in bare-chested.
Police in Cumbria have launched an investigation for, among other things, to find out how the man died, and how he might come to be trapped between the ladder and the chimney. Matthew Kennerly from the police in Cumbria have also said the following to The Guardian.
– We also want to find out how and why the man has climbed up the tall chimney, tells Matt Kennerly on the mysterious deaths.
the Chimney are also being called Dixon’s Chimenye. It was completed in 1836 and was then England’s highest chimney.
