Bergerot has once again stressed the need for a reform to regulate the institutional advertising of governments to the media so that it is distributed “according to objective criteria and that it serves to strengthen a plural media ecosystem, instead of to buy accessions with the money of the people of Madrid.”
Juan Lobato, the regional spokesperson for the socialists, has defended that the work of the press is “a pillar of the functioning of liberal democracies” and, therefore, it must carry out the task of “oversight and control of politicians.” .
