Former prime minister Lars Løkke Rasmussen says in an interview programme of the Week the Guest with Pia Rowan on P1, that he is working on a new book.
But it is not the great autobiography that is in the pipeline.
– I’m too young to write memoirs. My good friend Søren Pind has already done it, before he is over the age of 50, but I’m thinking of, there are many years ahead.
– So, I come not to write such a chronological, ‘I was born in Vejle, and my parents named Lise and Robert – and now you shall hear of all the wisdom that I have done, and all the good things that have gone well in Danish politics, it is something I have done, and if there is something that has gone awry, then it’s because you haven’t listened to my advice’ Such a I do not bother to write.
– But I sit and try to return to some situations that have meant something to me. Some erindringsglimt, maybe you could call it. So we must see if it has wear ability to get a book out of it, says Lars Loop.
In the course of 2020, it will be clear, whether the writing can be enough of a book.
Befrielsens Moment appeared in the electoral campaign, and attracted great attention, because the Loop opened the door for a SV-government.

The new book should be positively charged, declares the Left-the man with the seat in the Foreign affairs policy Board.
– There is no obligation to write memoirs. The project I have in addition is parked, because I don’t want to go and be bitter and sour. To sit a short time after one has stopped and the pill in the core policy scenario, ‘so said the that, so I said it, where was I wise, where were they stupid.’ I don’t want to.
– If it must be, so must it be with a lighter approach to life. Life is good, he points out.
