– It is really important to dress in negotiations – regardless of whether you are opposition or contacts. If so who comes very late to cancel a process, you know, has been planned, we think that it is unsatisfactory, she says.
– It is important that ministers are giving it, and planned for it. It is clear, that especially as a foreign minister can have much travel, but there are still obligations to the Parliament and the Finance committee, which must be respected, says Lisbeth Bech Poulsen.

Chairman: Late apologies was too bad
– Jens Joel, what do you say to the criticisms that are raised in the letter?
– As we write, of course it is important that the government extends as long as possible in order to create a good process in the Danish Parliament. And it was too bad that there was a late cancellation. But we also note in the letter, the government offered to go through exactly the section on the same day, we had planned – but by the second minister in the same ministry (minister for development cooperation Rasmus Prehn, eds.)
– the government Has not taken the process about finansudspillet seriously enough?
– There has been an annoyance over the fact that there have been apologies. But there is also a balance in relation to the fact that the committee recognises that the ministers of course can have decay due to, for example, missions. And in this context also notes that the government could send another. But it wanted the committee not to make use of.
– In the letter you write that you are bringing to ‘these views in the hope that the future cooperation between the government and the Finance committee is going to be better’. Has there been a bad cooperation so far?
– It is just a call to ensure and have the attention of the committees ‘ work opportunities and conditions. It is completely still and quiet the calls for from the committee’s side. It is not especially dramatic.
– How are you as a social democrat, to send a critical letter to your commander in chief?
– There has been raised a discussion in the committee, and the pass I of course. But I pass also the recognition that one can be prevented, and that the government actually offered to send a second minister. Even a minister from the same ministry. It is the balance, and of course, it should be redistributed.
– But do you agree that it has been an unsatisfactory process, as it stands in the letter?
– It has no position to. I will circulate the committee’s views.
– But you are a member of the committee. So do you agree with the views stated in the letter?
I was pleased that the government offered to send a second minister. That, I think, showed a courtesy.
– But you also agree that it is ‘unsatisfactory that the government do not give higher priority to the participation in an important, agreed in advance, the activity in the context of the Parliamentary consideration of the government’s financial bill’?
– I have sent a letter on behalf of the committee, which expresses the discussion and the points that have been raised in the committee. Them forward I, of course, as president. In this context, it is not my positions, but the committee positions to be forwarded, ” says Jens Joel.
