He had hoped for much more, when he in 2017 switched from French Nantes to Danish FC Copenhagen, but Nicolaj Thomsen must be true, that there has been room for improvement in his time with the Danish master.
Thomsen, 26 years old, have had a hard time getting on the team – partly because of injuries, partly because of fierce competition, and therefore the former AaB’is now taken a decision to search further in his career.
And Stale Solbakken does not stand in the way of Thomsen, who has a contract with FCK until the summer of 2021.
– He is one of those who have expressed a desire that he will play regularly. He is welcome to take the competition, but we already had the dialogue in the summer. Then came all the injuries, and it made it difficult to do it (sell, ed.).
– If Haas takes a club, he is now satisfied, and we get the money, which he is valued, I stand not in the way, says I am the manager Nicolaj Thomsen’s situation.

Nicolaj Thomsen refused even to talk about the future on Monday at the FC Copenhagen training facility, but in december he told of his desire to leave FC Copenhagen.
– My current situation is not sustainable. I need to play football, and I do not right now. I’m really happy to be in Copenhagen and love the city, but it is about playing football.
