The public draws by which the members of the polling stations are beginning to be chosen have already begun and, in the case of some municipalities, the results are public. Those elected will have a period of seven days to present allegations.
In such a case, the chosen persons will receive a letter at their address, delivered by a police officer or postman; however, if they are not there, you will receive a notice to pick up the letter at a Post Office. These communications will be delivered three days after the corresponding draw.
The people who have been designated in the lottery must go to their polling station one hour before the start of voting; that is, on July 23 at 8:00 a.m.
The formation of the tables is the responsibility of the municipalities under the supervision of the Zone Electoral Boards; Some Basque towns have already published the results of the draws:

The Central Electoral Board establishes the following requirements to be appointed:
-Literacy.
-To be under 70 years of age, although from the age of 65 they may resign within seven days.
-The president of the board must have the “Bachelor’s degree or the Second Degree Vocational Training degree, or secondarily the School Graduate or equivalent”.
The Central Electoral Board establishes that the designated persons have a period of seven days to claim before the Zone Electoral Board a justified and documented cause that prevents them from accepting the position.

Among other impediments, the following appear:
-Have some type of disability or the status of pensioner of absolute permanent disability and severe disability.
-Be over 65 years old.
-Have a situation of temporary incapacity for work, accredited by means of the corresponding medical leave.
-Be pregnant after six months of pregnancy. The corresponding maternity rest period is also a justified excuse.
-Being hospitalized in penitentiary centers or psychiatric hospitals, which will be accredited by certification of those responsible for them.
-Having been part of a polling station before, at least three times in the last ten years.
-Being the victim of a crime and proving that you have to be part of a polling station at the school where the perpetrator of the crime (convicted or investigated) is called to the polls.
-Being a mother, during the natural or artificial lactation period, until the baby is nine months old.
-Also care directly and continuously, for reasons of legal guardianship, of children under eight years of age or people with physical, mental or sensory disabilities.
-Caring directly and continuously for a relative up to the second degree of consanguinity or affinity who, due to age, accident or illness, cannot fend for himself.
-The concurrence of family events of special relevance, in which the interested party is the protagonist and which cannot be postponed or whose postponement gives rise to significant economic damages.
-Having a child under 14 years of age in charge, provided that it is justified that the other parent cannot take charge during election day.
-Those who have to provide their labor services in the Electoral Boards, the Courts and the Public Administrations that must remain operational during election days will be exempt.
-Sanitary, civil protection, firefighters, etc. that on election day they have to provide professional service.
-Directors of general information media and heads of information services that must cover the working day.
-Professionals who must participate in public events that take place on election day.
Likewise, due to the moment in which the elections are held, an added impediment is included:
-The contracting of a vacation, prior to the call for elections (May 30), and provided that its cancellation entails economic damage. This contract must be demonstrable before the Central Zone Board.
