car giant Ford has for several decades built one of the world’s most famous cars, namely the Mustang. Now will Ford extend the Mustang family with a new fully-electric SUV, which is named the Mustang Mach-E.
It informs Ford in a press release.
– Ford Motor Company is proud to be able to present Ford Mustang Mach-E, which strikes in the market like a bolt of lightning from a clear sky, just like the model T Ford did in his time, says Bill Ford, the company’s chairman of the board, in a press release.
Ford Mustang Mach-E introduced into Europe from the summer of 2020 and get the Danish launch from december 2020. Mustang Mach-E will be available in both baghjuls – and four-wheel drive versions with either standard or extended batterirækkevidde.

As you can see in the pictures here, the Mustang Mach-E clear designreferencer to the normal Mustang. Signaturtrækkene from the Mustang family counts among other things, the long and powerful hood, the lines along the side, the aggressive headlights and the characteristic three-part tail lights.

Great expectations
It is clearly stated in Ford’s presentation of the new electric SUV, they have sky-high expectations to the model.
– It is custom built and run on pure electricity, but are still unmistakably Mustang, and it will land at just the right time for our european customers, says Stuart Rowley, Ford Europe’s president.
Ford believe themselves, that they have developed an electric car that both keeps the Mustang name on the prescription and get the best out of a SUVs spaciousness by placing the battery in the underbody.
– whether you crave the action packed experience or the calm and noiseless drive, giving the Mustang Mach-E you the possibility of both, with an absolutely unique driving dynamics, which retains the unmistakable feel of the Mustang-freedom, says Ted Cannis, Ford’s global produktdirektør for electrification.

Two batteries
Mustang, Mach-E will come in two different batterivarianter. The standard has a 75,7 kWh lithium-ion battery, and will have extended range, you can select a 98,8 kWh battery. The latter variant with rear-wheel drive has an expected range of up to 600 km.
– Mustang-Mach-E marks a new era for Ford, and we couldn’t be more excited to launch it to our customers in Europe. This brand new electric car is so much more than just emission-free driving. It offers a completely effortless experience, says Stuart Rowley.
Ford will also offer the electric car in a special performance edition by the name of Mustang Mach-E GT will do 0-100 km in under 5 seconds. The GT series has 465 hp (342 kW) and a torque of 830 Nm and will come to Denmark from the middle of 2021.
the Price of Ford Mustang Mach-E starts from the 451.897 dollars for the version with 75 kWh and rear-wheel drive. Mustang Mach-E are expected to be launched in Denmark in december 2020, but can be ordered from the summer of 2020, with expected delivery in the beginning of 2021, why the price is calculated from the 2021 tax.
With the current charge would the car cost from 371.000 crowns.
