After ten days of the campaign in which the presence of Bildu was constant in the campaign of Alberto Núñez Feijóo, the president of the PP has given a turn to his speech and the economy, the microeconomics, the one that most affects citizens has little by little, the axis of the final stretch of the campaign, in an attempt to attract the “useful vote”, the one who has voted for the PP, but not only that, those who have voted for Ciudadanos, who according to the polls will remain as a residual party, to Vox, and even to the PSOE.
And to attract them, inflation is a trump card. “The Government prefers to talk about something else,” Alberto Núñez Feijóo stressed, at a rally held in Las Palmas de Gran Canaria, because “the Government is not in this world, because any family has never had to make more efforts to reach at the end of the month”.
The popular leader addresses that segment of society and reminds them that food has risen by 25% in the last 24 months, some products up to 70%, and the PP proposed lowering VAT on meat, fish and the preserves, “but it has not done so”, and the Government has done nothing to alleviate the burden of families whose mortgages have been raised by 300 euros a month. They are those citizens who “pay more for the shopping cart, that their mortgage has risen, that their taxes have risen and the Government is the only one that benefits, because it has collected 42,000 million euros more in taxes for what the citizens have bought”.
The president of the PP compares this situation of the Government, with which he has proposed and would have done: “Reduce personal income tax for those who earn less than 40,000 euros; reach an agreement with the bank to create a fund to help families who They cannot assume the rise in mortgages, and lower the VAT on basic products that the Government has not wanted to lower.
“And now they say that they are going to withdraw the aid,” Feijóo warned them, referring to the words of Vice President Calviño, who this weekend indicated that she will study whether or not to maintain the measures adopted, such as VAT reduction, which end on June 30. According to the president of the PP, the only thing the government wants is “to have money for the next campaign”, and to continue making ads like those of these 15 days, many of which he ridiculed, from movie tickets to two euros a day a week, for those over 65, or the money announced by Pedro Sánchez on Sunday for primary care, which according to Feijóo does not even go to fix the roofs of health centers.
For all this, the popular leader asks for the vote for his party, because the change “we are touching it with our fingers”, and it is possible. To finish convincing the undecided, what Feijóo tells them is that “Spain does not deserve a broken government and a president without authority”, it does not deserve “the sanchismo, which” points to those who disagree, to judges, journalists, businessmen, farmers”, because, he warns them, “Sanchismo is arrogance, the small theater with militants” Sanchismo “are scandals – and there he cited the Tito Berni case – with the abuse of institutions, the use of the prosecutor’s office, the Court Constitutional, of the CIS, are the flagrant errors, the continued lie, which has turned a state party into a party that governs with those who do not believe in the state”.
“Spain is tired of all this”, in Feijóo’s opinion, because it is tired of Sánchez “trying to deceive everyone at all times” and tired of Sanchismo “has liquidated the PSOE and abandoned the real socialists “, and because when “ERC and Bildu rule in a country, that government cannot be supported”, nor because it has repealed the crime of sedition and has lowered the penalties for embezzlement”, because it has pardoned those convicted of the process, and Spain does not deserve a government “in which those of Podemos decide and the independentistas prevail.”
That is why he asks those who do not forgive the fact that the sentences have been lowered for more than 1,000 sexual aggressors, those who reject “that the corrupt benefit” and those who “are indignant with sanchismo because they agree with those who lead to 44 ETA members on their lists”.
