The president of the Popular Party, Alberto Núñez Feijóo, stressed this Thursday that he has “abstracted” from the “gross” lived with the motion of censure of Ramón Tamames because he does not point to “children’s and populist politics” and, on the contrary, what it offers is “a normal Spain and a policy for adults for an adult country”.
In a press conference from Brussels, the opposition leader rejected in this way “making the wave to the Government” or “following” Vox and in this he justified the abstention voted yesterday by the Popular Parliamentary Group before the motion of censure presented by the training of Santiago Abascal with Professor Ramón Tamames as a candidate.
“There the President of the Government if he wants to give us a macro rally and there Mrs. Yolanda Díaz has presented her candidacy using the motion to appropriate Podemos,” Feijóo transferred, thus refusing to lend himself to “this type of game that discredits the institutions and the Spain that we have built in recent years”.
In such a way, Feijóo ? who was not present at any time during the debate on the motion of censure ? criticized “this day of improper and unproductive spectacle” that has been experienced in Spain. “I do not share this way of doing politics and, therefore, I have abstracted myself from this political absurdity that we have experienced in our country,” he declared.
