Yesterday in Valencia Alberto Núñez Feijóo defended his party’s pacts with Vox, like the one forged in the Valencian Community, and rejected the “lessons” of the Prime Minister, which, in his opinion, he intends to give Pedro Sánchez in PP

“Sanchismo has dedicated itself to demonizing the pacts that the PP can reach, and it does the same thing that made the Frankenstein pact a reality. Why don’t they teach anyone lessons about pacts!” said the president of the Popular Party, who reproached the PSOE for saying that “PP’s pacts are unheard of in Europe” when what is “unheard of in Europe is making an agreement with populism more big and the Basque and Catalan separatists, who are the ones who want to break up a country”.

The president of the PP went to Valencia yesterday to present his health programme, accompanied by the next president of the Generalitat, Carlos Mazón, but part of the speech was devoted precisely to defending the agreement reached in this community.

Without citing Vox, he also announced that “the citizens of Valencia and the rest of Spain” can be “calm because the PP – he said – will not give up any of its principles and will always form governments proportionate to the results in each autonomy. Have no doubts that we will govern for everyone”, he pointed out, adding that these pacts are a “guarantee of governability”.

In particular, the president of the PP remarked that Carlos Mazón will do the same, who will govern “for the whole” of the population of the Valencian Community once he succeeds in being invested as president. “For everyone”, reiterated Feijóo.

In his speech, the popular leader tried to combat the speech of the socialist party, which does not give up in warning that the alliances of the Popular Party with Vox provide entry to the institutions of ultra-nationalism. For the leader of the Popular Party, this message aims to scare people: “We have introduced the idea of ??”Verano azul” to add some excitement and something positive, since we will vote with so much heat, it’s not bad.”

For the leader of the PP, what “sanchoism” is really afraid of is that the map of Spain will be dyed blue on July 23rd as it did on 28-M. This is their problem. “Their objective is to confront Spanish society and establish blockages. If the PSOE wins, the elections must be repeated while the PSOE loses. This is the level of democracy of the PSOE”, denounced the president of the PP.

The event served for Alberto Núñez Feijóo to present what he defined as “the priority” of his government, which, as he assured, is healthcare.

And he added that one of the major objectives of the legislature if it reaches Moncloa will be “to achieve the best healthcare in the world in Spain”. For this reason, he announced a battery of measures that will start with a primary care shock plan “to solve the problems of the front door, which does not work”. “A person cannot wait three weeks to be given an appointment”, he alleged.

This shock plan, he said, wants to solve the specialist deficit by incorporating the “necessary professionals to solve the lack of family doctors”.

So, he committed to expanding the offer of places in the MIR system by 1,000 more per year. It also wants to encourage active retirement so that doctors can practice their profession until the age of 72. And he presented measures to “retain the talent of doctors and nurses, speed up the validation of degrees and reduce the duration of contracts”.
