Torrential amounts of rain, wind, thunder and lightning is expected to hit the eastern Spain on Wednesday night. The extreme storms will ravage for several days, heralding the european weather service Meteoalarm on its website.
Steffen Boe Jensen and his three companions find themselves in the coastal town of Los Alcazares in Spain, where they have rented a cottage for a week. But the men’s solskinsferie is very suddenly been interrupted by the notice of severe weather.
– Right now it is starting to blow, and out on the horizon, there are some very dark clouds, as it rains profusely from. It’s raining not here yet, but we can feel that there is something in the offing, says Steffen Boe Jensen to Ekstra Bladet through a telephone connection from Spain.
It blows so much around him that it is hard to hear what he says.

In response to the anticipated storm, many have withdrawn within, and the city is still going.
– There used to be a lot more life in the city than there is right now, says Steffen Boe Jensen.
He and his comrades are prepared that they may need to stay in the rented holiday home in a good while.
– We should hold out and get the time to go the best way possible. If there comes so much water, as they say, it’s not safe, we possibly can get around, he says.
– We have been over and the act, so we at least have food for a few days. Usually we go over and download the breakfast each morning but it is raining we are not, we will just preliminary.
