Customers fleeing from the TDC

TDC is losing ground on virtually all the traditional fronts, such as mobile telephony, broadband and tv. Here, TDC has again lost thousands of customers.

When the TDC got new owners last year, the company got a new strategy that divides the group’s business in two legs: One with the content for the customers, such as television and mobile telephony, and one with the infrastructure, such as 5G and fibre.

In the course of this year, TDC has formalized the change and created a company for each of the two areas. At the same time, the company has had time in the larger replacements in the top of the company.

Here it is not only the customers who have left the TDC in the third quarter. The Dutch director Jaap Postma has been replaced by Michael Moyell Juul.

He takes over a kundedel, where in the third-quarter loss of 13,000 broadband customers, 8000 mobiltelefonikunder and 19.000 tv customers.

Also the group’s top executive, scottish Allison Kirkby, has found a new job. Her permanent replacement has not yet been found.

This is marginally less than the same quarter last year.
