C rims, the true crime series directed and presented by Carles Porta and produced by TV3 with the collaboration of Goroka and True Crime Factory, returns tonight to the grid of the chain with a new season of six episodes, in which they will group four cases, the first of which is that of Marina Ruiz.

Since it was born in Catalunya Ràdio with the voice of Carles Porta in 2018 and with the broadcast of an episode every week, Crims has become a success in various formats, as shown by the data: 204,000 listeners live on the radio, 3.6 million viewers in the 33 television episodes and 44 million reproductions of the radio and television programs, together with the books published on the list of the most read and an exhibition at the Palau Robert that has already reached 140,000 visits. The television version, moreover, can also be seen throughout Spain through Movistar Plus.

The excellent public reception of Crims is accompanied by the recognitions and awards collected, such as the National Communication Award for the best radio program, the Ondas award for the best radio program, the Ràdio Associació 1924 award for the best television program or the Zapping award for best television program and best presenter.

On February 15, 1999, early in the morning, the body of a dead woman was found on the train tracks in Cervera (Segarra). At first, the Mossos believed it had been a suicide, but there were things that didn’t add up. The body was stripped, with obvious signs of violence, and an iron bar was found a few meters away that could have been the weapon of the crime. With the first investigations, the identity of the victim became known: her name was Marina Ruiz and she worked in a factory that was right next to where the body had been found. The Mossos were convinced that it had to be someone from their environment.

The second case of this season will be that of Jordi Comas, and will develop over three weeks. The first chapter will be a different proposition. Porta leaves the radio studio to talk to Carme Hospital and let her be the one to explain, in the first person and at the scene, how she lived that cold night that changed her life forever.

On Sunday, November 18, 2012, in Platja d’Aro, three hooded men broke into the home of Jordi Comas, president of the Girona employers’ association, and his wife, Carme Hospital, while they were preparing to watch a debate electoral They ended up killing Jordi Comas. The other two cases in the new season of Crimes are dedicated to Yimmy Cox and the 1985 robbery at Banco Sabadell de Valls.
