WASHINGTON — A paint scheme that was proposed by Donald Trump for Air Force One will be scrapped by the Biden administration. The Air Force determined that the darker scheme would cause engine heat issues and would not work for presidential aircrafts.

The Air Force didn’t immediately respond to our request for comment.

The presidential aircraft’s exterior color scheme, Air Force One, when the president is aboard, is white with two shades blue. It dates back to President John F. Kennedy’s administration.
