Franco Silvestri, 32, was arrested and charged on Friday, Feb. 24 after detectives from the Camden County Prosecutor’s Office High Tech Crimes Unit executed a search warrant.
According to the prosecutor’s office, Silvestri’s cellular device was seized for an analysis. However, authorities said Monday, an onsite preview “showed a download history of child pornography.”
Silvestri was charged with one count of second-degree distribution of child pornography and one count of third-degree possession of child pornography.
Camden County Prosecutor’s Office detectives were assisted by members of locally based U.S. Department of Homeland Security investigators and the Waterford Township Police Department.
