Barça rectifies the season ticket prices for the temporary move to Montjuïc. Faced with the criticism generated among the social mass by the increase proposal presented by the club on May 2, the board of directors announced yesterday the new price policy.

The reduction compared to the first proposal is 50% in all areas of the field. On May 2, the prices were: €723 for the goal, €905 for the corner, €1,002 for the side and €1,738 for the grandstand. After the adjustment, the prices become €360 for the goal, €450 for the corner, €500 for the side and €870 for the grandstand.

If they are compared with the current Camp Nou prices, the reduction is approximately 25% on average. In other words, prices have gone from 25% more expensive to 25% cheaper compared to the current campaign.

“We were aware and we are aware that burdening the members with the club’s financial problems was unpopular, but it was necessary. But we set out to work to try to change that, especially at the initiative of president Joan Laporta”, stated the institutional vice-president, Elena Fort, who added: “Now the commercial area has the challenge of finding this income for another road”.

“We have been sensitive to partners. It is a measure that the partner deserves”, said the vice-president.

The season ticket registration process for the next season was already underway but will now start from scratch. “On May 30-31, the registration form will go out again, with priority given to season ticket holders who have attended 85% of this season’s matches at the Camp Nou plus those who had already notified that they wanted to come to Montjuïc. If the maximum number of 27,385 subscribers we can have is not reached, it would be opened to the members who are on the waiting list, and if not to the rest of the members”, said Fort.

In the famous feasibility plan that Barça presented to LaLiga, there are Montjuïc revenues with the first prices, which were presented on May 2. “We will have to compensate them with another type of income”, repeated the board.

First, let the club go to the Johan Cruyff stadium on Saturday to encourage Barça Atlètic in their attempt to play in the playoff for promotion to Second Division A. And second, let them go en masse to dismiss the Camp Nou on Sunday against Mallorca . “It will be a great party. There will be activities before the game, at halftime and for 30 or 45 minutes after the game. That the partner does not leave early”.

On the other hand, Barça yesterday announced an agreement with TP Vision so that Ambilight TV technology from Philips televisions will sponsor the shirt sleeve of the men’s and women’s teams until 2027 – the last two years will be optional, as the mandate ends by Joan Laporta – for an average value of 10 million euros per year. The Ambilight TV logo will be shown this Sunday in the match against Mallorca.

The club’s new corporate partner, which replaces Turkish appliance firm Beko, is working with lighting technology developed by Dutch brand Philips for its plasma and LED TVs. Barça will receive more and more money for its sponsorship with TP Vision. The first course will enter 8 million; the second, 10; the third and fourth, 12, and the fifth, 14.
