From 1. January is over to see the Discovery channels, if you are YouSee customer.
The two companies have long been in the war, and now trying to Discovery to entice traditional tv customers to switch to streaming.

the Discovery has shot a campaign for streamingplatformen Dplay, and it will be possible to get access to Discovery’s 11 livekanaler for 99,95 kr. a month in the next six years.
– Dplay is today the fastest growing streaming service, and with our Dplay Sports-campaign, we want among other things to make our sports rights are so visible and accessible for as many danes as possible.
– We hope that this offer can be a good alternative to the many YouSee-customers who lose access to our channels 1. January, says Christian Kemp, director at Discovery Networks Denmark.
It is not only new customers, who get pleasure to offer. Existing Dplay Sport-customers will automatically put their price down 99.95 a month for the next six months.

Discovery and YouSee have in recent months been on a collision course.
the Reason is that YouSee earlier in the fall came out, that they would no longer have the Discovery channels – Channel 4, Channel 5, Channel 6, 9’eren, Eurosport 1 and Eurosport 2 – as part of their regular tv packages.
instead, the desired YouSee that interested customers could add channels as part of the mix-yourself solutions.
It was the Discovery not. The two companies have not been able to make an appointment, and therefore disappears, the Discovery channels, when the new year phone call – unless they are at the finish line to reach consensus.
An early resolution of the conflict was something, as Discovery Networks Denmark-director Christian Kemp, according to journalist Kurt Strand opened up in the program ‘People and media’, which was posted earlier Friday on P1.

the Discovery has, among other things, rights to greece, and returned, matches from the premier League and Europa League as well as the OLYMPICS.
