12-year-old Jason describes what happened when he and his comrades took the so-called ‘fire challenge’ up in one of their homes.

– the First time it was like a tiny fire, and then extinguished it, says Jason, and tells that it was, as the other for the second time lit the fire to him, and the flames spread.

He describes that he sat with pain in the back seat as his mother drove him to the hospital. She had stayed inside the house, when she suddenly heard his son scream of pain outside.

The so-called ‘fire challenge’ is far from a new phenomenon. According to The University of Iowa Injury Prevention Research Center, began already to appear on the internet in 2010. Other similar dangerous challenges, among other with scalding hot water, has since become ‘popular’ on social media.

According to the NBC, it is unclear whether the police in Dearborn Heights have been made aware of the incident. The media is working to get a email response from the authorities.
