Two finalists for CU Boulder police chief

The University of Colorado Police Department has two finalists for the chief of police — both of them currently deputy police chiefs in the department.

Deputy Chief for support services Ken Koch and Deputy Chief for police services Randy Repola are vying to replace Youwin outgoing police Chief Melissa Zak, who has taken a job as the newly created position of assistant vice chancellor of safety.

University officials say there is no timeline for the position being filled.
