How did you come up with the idea to write this book?

It was a very important moment because we had been at the school for 325 years. Previously, a book had been written for the three hundred years, but we didn’t have any book written to fit with a current record. That is why I have decided to write one so that everyone will have the opportunity to read and understand it.

What category does this book belong to?

The book is between the story and the story, since the protagonist of the story is the llama, a fictional character, but everything that appears in this book are things that have really happened in this school, it deals with the entire history of the school.

When did you start writing it?

I started writing the book in November, on a Wednesday, I had two free hours in the morning, so I decided to go to Loreto and start writing it. I only wrote the first lines, I was there all morning, but as you know, every great march begins with a small step.

What were your sources of inspiration?

The main source of inspiration has been the book that was written previously for the 300th anniversary of the school, which inspired me, if it hadn’t cost me much more to write it.

What is the main theme of the book?

The main theme is the history of the school, but the most important thing is that we understand that this book has not been written alone, every student, teacher and person who is from this school has helped to write the book. We have all made it possible for this school to have facts that will always be remembered.

What is the date of its publication?

The expected date to publish this book was April 7, but it was delayed with the printing press and the final date was Sunday April 23.

Will the money go somewhere in particular?

Yes, we have not sponsored any publisher, that is, the school has paid for all the material to do it, so the money earned, a part will go to cover the costs of the book and the other part, we have agreed to collect the money and with they can help people in need and lend a hand.

Could you tell us who was the illustrator of the story?

The illustrator of the book has been Vanesa Castro, the mother of a student at the school. She has made some beautiful drawings and has perfectly captured the essence of the school. It has been a pleasure and a gift from her to share that experience with her.

Was it hard for you to write this book?

The part that I have found most difficult has been to write the story so that it is understood, in a familiar language, since the original story was written in twenty pages and in a language not suitable for everyone, so I had to summarize everything and change the words complicated by other clearer ones.

How have you heard yourself after writing this book?

The truth is that I have felt differently, in the 38 years that I have been at this school I have never felt so identified with the history behind it. Every day I leave happier and I feel closer to this wonderful company that surrounds me.
