The Ministry of Health has established for this Tuesday the high risk level (red) due to heat in 74 municipalities in nine regions of the Valencian Community, according to the Program for the prevention and attention to health problems derived from high temperatures.
The alert affects the regions of La Vega Baja, Camp de Turia, Valle de Cofrentes-Ayora, Canal de Navarrés, La Costera, La Hoya de Buñol, La Ribera Alta, La Serranía and La Vall d’Albaida
The municipalities at high risk are: Orihuela (La Vega Baja); Loriguilla, in the Field of Turia; Cofrentes, Cortes de Pallás, Jalance and Jarafuel, in the Cofrentes-Ayora Valley; Millares y Quesa, in La Canal de Navarrés; and Barxeta, Canals, Cerdà, el Genovés, Estubeny, Alcúdia de Crespins, Font de la Figuera, Granja de la Costera, Llosa de Ranes, Llanera de Ranes, Llocnou d’En Fenollet, Moixent, Montesa, Rotglà and Corberà, Torrella, Vallada, Vallés and Xàtiva, in La Costera.
There is also a red level in Yátova and Dos Aguas, in La Hoya de Buñol; Alberic, Antella, Benimodo, Benimuslem, Carcaixent, Gavarda, Massalavés, Tous, Alcántera de Xúquer, Beneixida, Cárcer, Castellón (Villanueva de Castellón), Cotes, l’Énova, la Pobla Llarga, Manuel, Rafelguaraf, Sant Joanet, Sellent, Senyera and Sumacárcert, in La Ribera Alta.
They complete in list, Bugarra, Calles, Chelva, Chulilla, Domeño, Gestalgar, Losa del Obispo and Pedralba, in La Serranía; and Otos, Agullent, Albaida, Alfarrasí, Bélgida, Bellús, Benigànim, Benissuera, Bufali, el Palomar, Guadasséquies, l’Olleria, La Pobla del Duc, Montaverner, Ontinyent, Quatretonda and Sempere, in La Vall d’Albaida.
Medium risk (orange) has been established in 17 counties: Vega Baja, Camp de Turia, El Comtat, Valle de Cofrente-Ayora; the Vinalopó Medio, L’Acoià, El Alto Vinalopó, Canal de Navarrés, La Costera, La Hoya de Buñol, La Marina Alta, La Plana de Utiel-Requena, Ribera Alta, Ribera Baja, La Safor, La Serranía and the Vall d ‘Dawn
