Fifteen injured by an incident with a carcass in the Mascletà of Castellón

A total of fifteen people have been injured by an incident with a carcass during the mascletà this Monday in Castellón on the occasion of the Magdalena festivities, and two more people have had to be treated for fainting.

As reported by the Public Security area of ??the Castellón City Council, fourteen of the injured people have slight damage to their faces, necks and arms.

These fourteen people have been treated by the health services in the same area of ??the mascletá and have not had to be referred to health centers, but another has been admitted to the General Hospital of Castellón due to severe ear pain.

The incident was caused by a carcass at the height of Avenida de Capuchinos, at the intersection with Calle Bernat Artola, for reasons that are still unknown and are already being investigated, according to the City Council of the capital of La Plana.

In addition, during the course of the mascletà, the health services treated two more people for fainting due to the heat.

The city of Castellón celebrates its founding festivities from last Saturday until next Sunday.
