Millennials are not only trending, they’re taking over Milan Fashion Week.

Dolce & Gabbana’s fashion show was one giant, sparkly love letter to the social media savvy set. For starters, the Italian duo cast bloggers and influencers to walk the runway instead of the standard supermodel set.

As Pamela Anderson, Christie Brinkley, Rene Russo and Lisa Rinna looked on from the front row, they gleefully took in the over-the-top threads worn by their offspring: from sequined frocks to tiaras that spelled “Queen,” the festive theme was obvious – and infectious.

YouTube musical sensation Austin Mahone hosted the show, serenading the cast as they strutted down the runway to a slew of Justin Bieber’s greatest hits.

Speaking of Bieber, slogan shirts declaring “D&G Loves Justin Bieber” made their catwalk debut.

In a finale that inlcuded seemingly endless men in uniform offering guests trays (and trays) of champagne cocktails, the undeniably festive message was received loud and clear: Dolce & Gabbana know how to throw one helluva chic party.
