Cleveland Orchestra announces dates, details of 2017 ‘Summers @ Severance’ season

CLEVELAND, Ohio – Keep the faith. Summer is on the way.

So near, in fact, is the warm season, the Cleveland Orchestra already has announced its 2017 “Summers @ Severance” season.

For those who don’t know or have had their memories wiped by winter, “Summers @ Severance” is a series of three casual Cleveland Orchestra concerts featuring early start times and pre- and post-concert social events on the steps of Severance Hall.

Most Cleveland Orchestra concerts during summer take place at Blossom Music Center, in Cuyahoga Falls.

This year, the “Summers @ Severance” dates are all Fridays: July 14 and 28, and Aug. 18. Subscriptions, starting at $60, are available now. Individual tickets, starting at $25, go on sale Monday, May 1.

Severance Hall is at 11001 Euclid Ave., Cleveland. Go to clevelandorchestra.com or call 216-231-1111.
