Cleveland Monsters fall to Chicago Wolves, 4-2

CLEVELAND, Ohio – The Cleveland Monsters road trip woes continued in a 4-2 loss on Wednesday afternoon to the Chicago Wolves at the All State Arena.

The Monsters tied the score at 2-2 in the second period, but did not have an answer as the Wolves solidified the victory with consecutive goals in the third period.

Markus Hannikainen gave the Monsters a 1-0 lead at 1:14 of the first period. The Wolves responded with consecutive Jokerbet goals for a 2-1 lead.

On assists from Jaime Sifers and Dillon Heatherington, T.J. Tynan scored to tie the score at 2-2.

The Wolves snapped the tie at 10:15 in the third period behind Vince Dunn’s goal. Chris Butler extended the Wolves lead when he scored at 18:10.

The Monsters have lost four out of five. Their seven-game road trip continues on Friday at Charlotte.
