Police do not suspect foul play at this time, though the investigation is ongoing.

CBS 4 reports Delgado resigned from the Hidalgo County District Attorney’s Office in October.

Court records show several arrests for Delgado, including two DWI arrests and several arrests for possession or use of inhalants or volatile chemical.

CBS 4 attributes his resignation to recent arrests on those charges. He handled misdemeanor cases.

The TV station has previously reported on Delgado’s arrests, detailing multiple incidents. In one case Delgado was found unconscious in his car with a can of Office Depot-brand cleaning duster on his lap, according to another story by CBS 4.
