The National Police have arrested in Asturias a man who murdered a woman after a sexual encounter at the victim’s house, who appeared lifeless in the bathtub.

As reported by the Police this Wednesday, the murder took place last March in Oviedo and the alleged perpetrator of the crime was arrested in Pola de Lena.

The investigations began on March 12, when the victim’s mother reported her daughter’s absence to the National Police. That same day, the agents found the lifeless body of the woman in the bathtub of her own home, and the autopsy revealed that she had died violently on March 9, as indicated by the blows to the face and other injuries. that presented

Throughout the 12th and the following day, the agents carried out two technical-police inspections in the victim’s home and vehicle, where various effects and vestiges were collected that allowed the investigation to progress.

Among them, a notebook was found with handwritten notes, three mobile phones and various cut clothing that were taken from the victim. In the place, different vestiges were collected on which the agents carried out DNA studies and other inquiries to clarify the facts.

The investigative procedures carried out made it possible to prove that the possible perpetrator of the material death could be a man who had contracted a sexual encounter with the victim. The investigators also managed to gather clues based on the forensic analysis of the woman’s telephone terminals, since she had all her appointments perfectly organized and planned, her last contact being the person who has been arrested as the alleged perpetrator of the facts.

With all the investigations collected by the agents, the alleged perpetrator was arrested, as well as a search and visual inspection of his home, where various effects possibly related to the crime were intervened. After being placed at the disposal of the judicial authority, his entry into provisional prison was decreed.
