A dog paralyzes traffic on a Philadelphia highway in the middle of rush hour

Pennsylvania state police chase a dog that was running on Interstate 95 in Philadelphia, which caused a traffic gridlock during the morning rush hour.

The animal was first seen dodging traffic and crossing southbound lanes around 7:00 a.m. local time. As a local television channel could attest, the dog was even hit by a truck during the chase, but he escaped unharmed and continued running afterwards.

Agents were eventually able to corner the dog on the shoulder of the freeway and move it to an animal care center for examination. The general manager of the pet care center said the dog had a collar but no trace of a microchip was found, and that if no one claims it, it will go to a Bucks County pound.
