A child was left hanging from the balcony of an eighth floor and was rescued by two deliverymen

A heroic rescue occurred this Friday in the city of Rosario, when an 11-year-old boy was left hanging from a balcony on the eighth floor and was assisted by two deliverymen who were passing by on the street, they came across the situation and decided to save him. The scene was recorded by different witnesses who observed the shocking event from the sidewalk.

The events occurred this Friday around noon at the intersection of Pellegrini and Corrientes streets. A child began to tear a protective mesh placed on the edge of the balcony, becoming trapped between the net and the structure, with a high risk of falling.

Two delivery drivers who were traveling in a truck along the avenue noticed the situation and decided to intervene due to the anguish of the neighbors and passers-by who were observing the scene in amazement.

“We were driving the truck because we are beer delivery people, and we noticed that people were looking up, where we saw the child hanging. That’s why my partner Facundo and I reacted immediately because people were in a state of shock,” Rodrigo said.

At that moment, according to what he said in an interview with El Tres TV, Rodrigo and Facundo got out of the truck and spontaneously went to the rescue.

“We got off the truck and left it in the middle of Pellegrini Avenue, we didn’t care at all. We just wanted to rescue the child, who apparently has autism. We went up to the ninth floor and started knocking on the door. We entered the ninth and couldn’t get there because “The boy was downstairs, so we went downstairs and a neighbor gave us the knife to cut the net,” he added.

“I thought it could be my son and I didn’t care at all. We went up and started kicking the door because it was locked,” he explained.

After breaking through the front door, they reached the upper balcony. One of the delivery drivers stood face down, extended his arms with the help of his partner and they managed to save the child, just as the Firefighters arrived at the scene.

In the filming it is seen that the young man had crossed the net and was being supported by his brother. “The brother was in shock but he had him grabbed, once we rescued him he started crying,” they noted.
