Vins de Taller is a winery located in Siurana d’Empordà that was born in 2002 with the objective of recovering the viticultural tradition of the area and producing unique wines of the highest quality.
The winery was first founded as a family business by Antoni Falcón, an expert in landscaping who transformed a barren lot into an orchard. Over the years, several friends and partners have joined the project, the objective of which is to prioritize the quality of the wines over a large production.
For this they have 4 hectares of vineyards with Viognier, Vinyater and Merlot varieties, and 2 hectares with the Syrah and Muscat of Alexandria varieties. They carry out all the cultivation under the concepts of organic viticulture and have the CCPAE certification.
In their winery-workshop they produce small productions of high-end wines, in the style of garage wines, combining the most detailed and artisan way of working with the use of the most modern technology (refrigerated stainless steel tanks, vertical press, the best barrels of French and Hungarian origin, temperature and humidity control, etc).

The Celler Verd (one of the main buildings) by Vins de Taller is an example of sustainable architecture integrated into the landscape. It is reached by following a path surrounded by the vineyards of Siurana d’Empordà. It is a perfect place to hold all kinds of events, both for individuals and companies. In fact, from the winery itself they manage and offer themselves for events of all kinds.
One of its protagonists: the Merlot grape
The Merlot grape they produce provides intense red wines with purple touches. As they mature they become darker and more intense.
This intensity is present in one of its most special monovarietals: Faisà 2021. It is a ruby-colored wine and its aroma is reminiscent of spices and red fruit, blueberries, currants.
From organic and biodynamic production, on the palate it is soft, warm with notes of velvety tannins with herbaceous touches at the end of the mouth. An ideal red wine for red meat, stews, pasta, and mushrooms that has received the Fulla d’Or Girovi for the best monovarietal red wine.

Another of its outstanding monovarietal wines is the Marselan Marieta 2019. A 100% Marselan proposal, intense and balanced. This young wine with an intense cherry color with purple reflections has aromas of forest fruits and aniseed notes. Unlike Faisà, it is especially indicated for roasts that include meat, vegetables or even calçots.
