US Textiles & Apparel Imports Decline by 3.48% in Jan-Apr 2024
In the first four months of 2024, the United States saw a 3.48% decrease in textile and apparel imports, totaling $32.534 billion. This marks a decline compared to the same period in 2023.
China maintained its position as the top supplier of textiles and apparel to the US, with Vietnam coming in second. While apparel imports experienced a 6.00% drop, non-apparel imports actually increased by 3.97%.
Interestingly, apparel imports from Cambodia saw an increase during this period, while imports from Bangladesh declined.
