In addition to being one of the most prominent actresses today, the British Millie Bobby Brown dedicates a considerable part of her time to caring for her numerous pets. In fact, she has repeatedly made clear her deep love for animals, whether on her social networks or in front of the media.
Not long ago, in September 2023, the actress went to the BBC radio studios to conduct an interview with journalist Greg James and explained how many pets she had: at that time, the young woman was the owner of eight dogs, four cats, three goats, a donkey, a sheep and several rabbits, among other furry friends.
With the ease that Millie Bobby Brown has to get attached to animals, it is likely that today the number has changed. What is certain, however, is that this past January she adopted, along with her fiancé Jake Bongiovi, a new dog that came from the Humane Society Naples (HSN) in Florida.
Millie and Jake connected with the adorable Shark and decided to foster him through Joey’s Friends, an animal rescue group that Brown supports. After adopting him, they both changed his name to Jabba, like one of the characters in the Star Wars saga.
As explained by Joey’s Friends, Jabba is fully vaccinated, sterilized and microchipped. He is calm, he is happy and “her guardianship of him is further testimony to the bond between sentient beings and his loyal companions.”
The owners of the Humane Society Naples shelter were so grateful for the couple’s gesture that they shared it through their Instagram and decided to rename one of their current dogs, Big Brown, in honor of the actress. Millie is currently a rescue dog available for adoption.
