The Port Olímpic of Barcelona has already officially awarded all the restaurants that will make up the offering of the future Balcó Gastronòmic, which will open at the end of summer with the remodeling of the Gregal dock, which must be ready for the Copa América 2024. The Vraba restaurant, which debuted in October next to the museum dedicated to the competition, is the last of the establishments selected to occupy this new 24,000 m2 restaurant space. With it, there are eleven gastronomic proposals that the renovated Port Olímpic will contain, with a diverse offering that will range from the haute cuisine of the Torres brothers to more informal proposals such as Cangrejo Loco or La Barca del Salamanca.
The restaurants that will finally be in Port Olímpic are Sagardi, El Tribut, Pantea by Hermanos Torres, Cangrejo Loco, Super Local, La Fonda del Port Olímpic, La Barca del Salamanca, Vraba, Taberna Gallega de Marcos, Platets and Casa Carmen. The last to join the list was Vraba, by chefs Jordi Vilà and Albert Ventura, who emerged as the winner of the latest selection process for the new Balcón Gastronómico.
The healthy food establishment Faborit, the ice cream parlor Esferic and the empanada brand Les Muns have been the gastronomic stores that have been awarded a space in the Balcó Gastronómic, and seek to complement the restaurants’ offer with diverse products and beyond breakfast, lunch or dinner hours. The stores will be installed in three 85 m2 premises located on the lower level of the balcony, in the spaces that are being built as separation elements between the different restaurants.
