The works of the green axes continue to hold surprises. The latest, the discovery on the Besòs side of Carrer Girona, next to Mallorca, of new remains of the 16th-century Capuchin convent of Montcalvari, and religious pieces, such as a holy water font and a tombstone with a cross.

Archaeologists have also unearthed the basement of a farmhouse near the convent. This was occupied by French troops on the siege of 1697 to use it as a field hospital. In the Spanish Succession War (1713-1714) it was bombed, which would explain the presence of cannonballs. According to the historical sources consulted, the remains of the building were transferred to a farmer on the condition that he rehabilitate them until they became the farmhouse, which was demolished in 1900 at the time the Eixample was built.
