MUTEK, the International Festival of Digital Creativity and Electronic Music, already has a landing date in Barcelona and the passport that provides access to all its activities is officially on sale through the Vanguardia Tickets platform. From April 9 to 13, 2024, cutting-edge art, live music and digital technology will conquer the city with a new installment of the event that promises a lineup full of eclecticism.

The British duo Autechre is the first confirmed as headliner of the 15th edition of MUTEK in Barcelona. Sean Booth and Rob Brown, acclaimed in the electronic field in a way comparable to what Joy Division meant in rock, return with their music eight years after their last presentation in Barcelona. The duo will perform at the Apolo room on April 9.

The festival originally from Canada brought together a total of fifty artists of fifteen nationalities in the Catalan capital in 2022. Among them, the Norwegian-Mexican producer Carmen Villain, the project Perila, by the Russian Aleksandra Zakharenko and Astrid Sonne and Sofie Birch, two prominent figures of the Danish experimental scene.

Over the years, MUTEK has expanded globally to various artistic capitals such as Mexico City, Tokyo and Buenos Aires. In addition to renowned musical acts, MUTEK incorporates interactive art installations, visual projections and live performances.
