The Prat artichoke and the blue foot are once again the protagonists of the Gastronomic March, already consolidated events that this year celebrate their 15th edition. Until April 7, these fresh and seasonal products from the Baix Llobregat Agricultural Park will be part of the menus of 32 restaurants in the area and other municipalities in the province of Barcelona.

Establishments from El Prat de Llobregat, Abrera, Barcelona, ??Cerdanyola del Vallès, Esparraguera, Gavà, l’Hospitalet de Llobregat, La Palma de Cervelló, Martorell, Sant Andreu de la Barca, Sant Boi de Llobregat and Vilanova i la Geltrú participate.

In this way, you can try preparations such as a squid croquette with Pedro Ximénez sauce, some Prat artichoke hearts sautéed with Iberian ham, a squid cannelloni with candied apple and classic bechamel or a Prat artichoke stuffed with sausage mushrooms and curry sauce. Most menus include an appetizer, starter, main course, dessert and a fifth of San Miguel, for prices ranging from 18 to 65 euros. They can be consulted on the Març Gastronòmic 2024 website.

The Prat City Council and the Gastronomy and Tourism Association (AGT) are the organizers of an initiative that this year has Carme Ruscalleda as godmother, a few months ago awarded an honorary doctorate by the University of Barcelona. “The excellence of her cuisine with a universal spirit has always been accompanied by an inseparable and radical commitment to the products of our land. That is why we are excited that you will join us again on these days,” she said.

Some of the restaurants that collaborate in this gastronomic festival are Rústic (El Prat de Llobregat), La Volta Esparreguera (Esparreguera), El Forn Restaurant (Gavà), Palau Vell (Sant Andreu de la Barca) or Marimorena (Sant Boi de Llobregat). or La Masia Emilio Sánchez (Prat de Llobregat).
