The new Mad Max: No handbrake and full throttle

Revenge is a dish best served cold. In the Mad Max universe it is served with fury and at full throttle. With the new installment of the saga that began in 1979, George Miller – father of the dystopia of rust and sand – returns to the controls to push the accelerator to the bottom with the fifth installment of the franchise, Furiosa: From the Mad Saga Max.

The spin-off tells the story of a young Furiosa, years before what happened in Mad Max: Fury Road (2015), played by Anya Taylor-Joy. Having been presented at the international Cannes festival, Miller’s new film has conquered the competition with an overwhelming new epic full of motorized chases and abrasive revenge. With critical praise from Cannes in the rearview mirror, the latest Mad Max hits theaters without a handbrake.
