The iconic restaurant that Rosalía chose on her last getaway to Barcelona: shrimp tartare for 85 euros

After several years developing her musical career in the United States, Rosalía returns home. The Catalan spends more and more time in Catalonia, proof of this is her latest business project: a musical studio for emerging artists, which will be located in Hospitalet de Llobregat.

This initiative has been promoted by his own company, ‘TRESMAMIS SL’, which he runs with his mother Pilar Tobella and his sister and stylist Pilar Vila. With a view to promoting the Catalan music industry, the superstar has returned to her homeland this week, taking the opportunity to enjoy one of her pleasures: food.

This past weekend Rosalía visited a small place on Carrer dels Sombrerers, near the Basilica of Santa María del Mar. The singer from Sant Esteve Sesrovires has chosen the Estimar restaurant, specialized in fish and seafood. Its main chef, Rafa Zafra, was head chef at El Bulli Foundation, so it is quite a gastronomic experience.

Rosalía met in Estimar with her family, with whom she tried all kinds of creations: Cantabrian anchovies, bread with tomato, carpaccio of crayfish and caramelized onion, or red prawn tartar from Roses and caviar were some of the delicacies prepared by the Andalusian chef and his team.

A detail that should not be missed is the price of this establishment. The kilo of fish easily exceeds 100 euros, while the plate of tartare is around 85 euros, a treat that Motomami can afford.
