Bars are one of the favorite places for Spaniards to socialize, and if we talk about a town, sometimes they only have one of them as the only place where their inhabitants can go to meet, which makes it a fundamental part of the neighborhood.

In fact, so much so that, in recent years, bars have become a good measure in the face of depopulation, by offering work with an affordable rental price as a way of attracting new neighbors, as well as maintaining a nerve center for the rural life.

This is what they are looking for in Torrescárcela, a municipality in the province of Valladolid with 150 inhabitants, which offers a succulent rental offer to keep its bar-restaurant open and save its main socializing point in the town’s Plaza Mayor.

As can be seen in the offer published in the Official Gazette of the Province of Valladolid, the town asks for a rent of only 150 euros per month, about 1,800 per year, with a premises that includes two floors, one of them with an area bar, warehouse, kitchen and bathroom, and another with a large dining room and a second kitchen, in addition to the terrace.
