The actor Jorge Jurado, known for playing Currito in the mythical series Los Serrano, has rescued a dog that was tied with zip ties to a lamppost in Plaza de Castilla, Madrid. The young man released him, took him to his house and now tries to find a new home for him.
Jury, streamer and computer engineering student at the Polytechnic of Madrid, has used his loudspeaker on social networks to explode against animal abandonment. “I wanted to dedicate a few words to you so that you know that your rottweiler is in my house, yes, look how small the world is, your dog is now in the house of fucking Currito de Los Serrano,” he writes very angrily.
The 29-year-old has published photographs of the dog, a Rottweiler that showed signs of dehydration and malnutrition, he explains. “I wanted to tell you that we found him tied with zip ties right where you left him, on a lamppost in Plaza Castilla,” the thread continues.
The actor adds that “because of his marked ribs and bones, you had not fed him properly for several weeks or even months.” The dog was abandoned on the streets of the capital at 4 degrees Celsius, in the middle of a cold wave.
Jurado continues in his complaint clarifying that “I do this for the dog, because he does not deserve to have coincided in this life with someone like you, because after a few hours of affection, plenty of food and water, the dog has been resting without even remembering a second of you.”
“I wanted to let you know that I do this so that everyone who knew the dog in your area, your friends, your partner, your family and your environment receive this tweet, and they know what kind of person you are, and what you do with animals that you have in your care”, denounces the young man.
The Twitter thread has received a barrage of positive comments as a token of appreciation for his selfless gesture, thanks to which the dog is getting a second chance. “Thank you, because now we are going to personally take care that this bastard has the life he deserves, and a house where they want him,” the actor concluded.
