The gastronomic influencer ‘Dinning with Pablo’ has gone viral on TikTok after he expressed his disappointment in the experience at the ‘Nobu’ restaurant in Barcelona, ??owned by the famous actor Robert de Niro.
With a bill of 410 euros for the food, the influencer expressed his astonishment and discontent at what he considered a very excessive price for the quality received.
In a video shared on his social networks, ‘Cenando con Pablo’ revealed his experience at the restaurant, beginning with a warning about the prices he was going to face. Although he generally liked the flavors of the dishes, he criticized the scarcity of the portions, especially in relation to the price they cost. For example, the sushi tray was one of the highlights of his disappointment, considering it overpriced and below expectations for a high-end place.
Among the dishes tried, the lobster tacos, salmon tartare, horse mackerel with jalapenos, Wagyu New Style, shrimp tempura, black cod and squid stood out. However, it was the sushi that led ‘Dinner with Pablo’ to express his discontent most sharply, describing it as a “shit” compared to what he expected from a renowned restaurant like ‘Nobu’.
The surprise came when receiving the bill, which amounted to 410 euros, leaving the influencer perplexed and disappointed, especially since he expected to pay in cash.
The ‘Nobu’ restaurant, part of the Nobu Hotel, a chain associated with Robert de Niro and chef Nobu Matsuhisa, was established in Barcelona in 2019, on Avenida Roma, in the Sants-Montjuïc district, and offers panoramic views of the city ??and sea from the top of a 23-story building.
Of course, the criticism of ‘Cenando con Pablo’ has not left ‘Nobu’ in a very good position, since it has attracted more attention due to the high price and the quality perceived in the restaurant, than for anything else, generating discussions among gastronomy lovers and highlighting the importance of the relationship between price and quality in the restaurant industry.
