Tesla is venturing into the world of spirits with the launch of Tesla Mezcal, a luxurious and limited-release spirit priced at $450. This new addition to Tesla’s merchandise lineup follows the success of Tesla Tequila in 2020 and Tesla CyberBeer last year. The spirit, described as delicate and spicy with citrus and green apple notes, as well as a subtle smokiness, comes in a unique hand-blown glass bottle shaped like a lightning bolt, designed by Javier Verdura, Tesla’s director of product design.

Mezcal, similar to tequila but with a smokier taste, is made from the agave plant. Notable figures like Sammy Hagar and Bryan Cranston have also delved into the mezcal market with their own brands. Tesla Mezcal, produced by Nosotros Tequila & Mezcal, is derived from the fermentation of Espadi?n and Bicuishe agaves, offering a unique flavor profile with hints of herbs, roasted vegetables, lime, green apple, and spice, followed by smoky notes.

With an alcohol by volume (ABV) of 43%, Tesla Mezcal provides a balanced and flavorful experience, making it a desirable collectible for many Tesla enthusiasts. The spirit is available for purchase online, with a limit of two bottles per order and delivery restricted to select states. Orders will be shipped within three to six weeks of purchase.
