Somebody, Sayo, Slow Connection, Cara Antigua and Tiger Mosquito are some of the artists who will perform at the Maresme Sound music festival, which will be held between the 21st and 24th in different stages of the capital of Maresme (with a commitment to artists local.

According to the musical association Aiguamoll Música, the fourth edition of this event will take place in seven concerts that will take place in the Casal Aliança, Dòria Llibres, Pati del Cafè Nou and Espai Polivalent del Cafè Nou in Mataró.

Somebody, Sayo, Slow Connection, Cara Antigua, Tiger Mosquito, Carles Soriano and Sapo y Rana Dj Set will be the seven artists who will present their latest works at Maresme Sound, with a lineup marked by a commitment to local artists.

Somebody, stage name of Agustí Calbet, will be in charge of kicking off the festival, and is the only artist on the poster who is not originally from the region.

He will be followed by Paulina Mendes Balde, artistically known as Sayo, a singer with Senegalese roots established in Vilassar de Mar who will perform at Espai Polivalent del Cafè Nou on March 22. With influences ranging from R

On March 23, the next three concerts will take place at Casal Aliança, performed by the Mataró group Slow Connection, with the fusion of sounds inspired by shoegaze, lo-fi and electronics; Cara Antigua, with a pop influence that explores uncomfortable stories; and Tiger Mosquito, who will close the poster of the third day with a concert full of rock and roll.

The last day of the festival will give the spotlight to two artists from Mataró, Carles Soriano and Sapo y Rana Dj Set, who will perform on the stage of the Pati del Cafè Nou. After years of dedication to various musical projects and collaborations, Carles Soriano takes a firm step in his career with the release of his first solo EP, ‘Òrbita Lunar’, a new pop-rock style musical adventure represents a high point for the artist.

And Sapo y Rana DJ Set, a new and vibrant duo of disc jockeys who fuse garage and classic rock and roll with electronica and danceable punk, will create a fresh and energetic sound experience.
