Resident Evil 7 Coming to iPhone, iPad, and Mac

Capcom is set to release Resident Evil 7: Biohazard, the first game in the horror franchise to switch to a first-person perspective, on Apple devices. The game will be available on July 2nd in the Apple App Store for the iPhone 15 Pro, iPhone 15 Pro Max, iPads, and Macs with M-Series chips. Originally launched on consoles in 2017, RE7 for iOS and macOS follows the release of Resident Evil Village for Apple devices last year.

The iOS version of the game will feature touchscreen controls and a new Auto Fire function, allowing players to automatically fire weapons after aiming at enemies for a certain period. Players can also use PlayStation 5, Xbox, and other Apple-supported gaming controllers to play the game.

In addition to the main game, the DLCs for RE7 will also be available on Apple devices. The main game and the Not A Hero story DLC will be released as a bundle, along with the Gold Edition upgrade offering optional DLC such as End of Zoe, Banned Footage Vol. 1 and Vol. 2, the 5-Coin Set, Survival Pack, and Madhouse difficulty mode.

Capcom is also working on a remake of Resident Evil 2 for iOS and macOS, originally launched on consoles in 2019. Preorders for RE7 on Apple devices are now open, with one purchase allowing access on all your Apple devices and support for cross-progression. The 2023 remake of Resident Evil 4 was also released on Apple devices last year.
