Contrary to the popular hospitality motto, the customer is not always right. That was the case of a user who demanded to be served ten minutes before the kitchen closed. It was not like that and he decided to show his indignation through a review on the internet, in which he harshly criticized this business.
“I call at 11:20 p.m. to place an order. They tell me that delivery is no longer available. I ask them if they can pick up and the waiter who serves me responds that the last order didn’t come in, when they aren’t even 11:30 p.m.,” writes this customer.
And it ends with a forceful message: “Anyway, I’m freaking out. They’ve already done this to me on several occasions. Regrettable service.” The rating that the business deserves, only one star.
But those responsible for the establishment are not shy in their response either, according to the comment collected by the X (formerly Twitter) Soy Camarero account. “On weekends we close the kitchen at 11:30 p.m., but if it’s 11:20 p.m. and I still have 8 room orders in the kitchen and 3 pick-up orders and 4 take-out orders, I can’t continue placing more orders because my employees have a departure time of 00:00,” he recalls.
From the business, they ask for a little empathy. “With the orders in the kitchen we would finish taking out dishes after 12 and we still have to clean the kitchen and the premises,” she says. And she emphasizes: “You really deserve a star as a client.”
