Melendi, Nena Daconte and La Casa Azul, at the new Idilic festival in Platja d'Aro

The musical summer of the Costa Brava this year will have a new addition, since Plata d’Aro will host the Idilic festival on July 28 and 29. Specifically, the Masia Bas will host performances by artists and groups such as Melendi, La Casa Azul, Nena Daconte or Maldita Nerea.

According to the information provided yesterday by the organizers of the neonato festival (the promoter The Project, Globents and Why Not Music) the concerts will take place in a space with more than 30,000 square meters to accommodate up to 12,000 people per day. Tickets will go on sale tomorrow, Thursday, and there will be a reduced number of subscriptions for the two days for a total price of 39 euros.

The poster for this first edition of Idilic will host a total of thirteen names, the majority from the Spanish pop scene, among which are also the Latin star Danny Ocean, the duo Marlena, the group Marlon or the band La La Love You. The musical offer will be completed with performances by Dani Fernández, Zzoilo, Pole, Leo Rizzi and Pol Granch.

For the organizers –among which is the same Barcelona promoter that organizes the Festival de Porta Ferrada in Sant Feliu de Guíxols– this festival was born “with the clear objective of becoming the place to be on the Costa Brava during the summer”.

Finally, Idilic will also have a gastronomic space based on food trucks offering local products.
