Health alert due to the presence of plastic fragments in Milka chocolate bars with Oreo

The Spanish Agency for Food Safety and Nutrition (Aesan) has been informed, through the Coordinated System for Rapid Information Exchange (Sciri), of an alert notification sent by the health authorities of the autonomous community of Madrid, regarding the possible presence of plastic fragments in a Milka brand chocolate bar.

The information is the result of the self-control of the company itself, which has communicated the incident to the competent authorities, in compliance with the legislation and in order not to make unsafe food available to the population.

This is the 37 gram Milka Oreo bar, with batch number OSK0934422, barcode 7622210718693 and expiration date 08/01/2024.

According to the information available, the distribution has been throughout the national territory. The alert aims to verify the withdrawal of the affected products from marketing channels and recommends that people who have the product refrain from consuming it.
