Hello everyone! When thinking about agility in the animal kingdom, especially among companion animals, it is easy to fall into the cliché that cats call the shots, as they move with a grace that seems to defy the laws of physics. . On the other hand, dogs, with their sometimes clumsy attempts to navigate obstacles, may not be the first to come to mind when thinking about agility.

But this generalized conception does not take into account the wide variety of capabilities that dogs can display in the field of agility. That’s what the cabropeludos account on Instagram is for, which has posted a viral video that serves as a small reminder that dogs that are not trained for agility can also overcome obstacles. Or, at least, try.

In this clip three furry dogs appear who, unbeknownst to them, are going to have to participate in a very particular competition. All of them must jump rope barriers over three rounds. Obviously, the difficulty increases in the form of more obstacles.

On the first lap, they all jump without any problem. In the second round, the two poodles jump everything in front of them, but the third dog, who doesn’t seem very excited about this sport, decides to jump a few ropes and go under the rest. However, everyone manages to pass.

The real problem comes in the third round. On this occasion, the ropes have multiplied and you have to work harder to reach the finish line. The white poodle, which has shown the best attitude of the three, jumps them without problems. The brown poodle manages to make it to the end, but stops in front of the highest ropes, perhaps impressed by the jump he must make.

In this way, the brown poodle allows itself to be trapped by the lazier canine, who decides to stand up to the last test and execute the strategy that has worked for him so far. So, without thinking twice, he goes from jumping and crosses the ropes through the middle. On the other hand, the little brown one, now alone in the circuit, gets angry at having come last and shows his teeth in disapproval.
